CCA committee news
It's with great regret that the Committee accepted the resignation of our Treasurer, Alan Chilvers, in January. Alan was a stalwart in helping out with the Centre, looking after bookings, doing odd jobs, and maintaining links with the Social Club. We thank him for his work and support, and wish him well. We are now looking for someone to undertake the Treasurer role, which will also mean becoming a Trustee of the charity. Ideally we are also looking for an additional 4 or 5 people who are willing to get involved and commit just a small amount of time to helping run the CCA, to spread the load that currently sits with a very small number of people. The amount of work involved, and the commitment of time isn't huge, a few hours each month to help with taking bookings, maybe opening up and locking the Centre for events, or perhaps helping out now and then with prospective hirers.
