Two gold watches taken from bedside cupboard. Money and mobile phone left untouched. Burglary Not Dwelling Window at The Old Chapel Hall, Cabot Lane, smashed and building entered late afternoon/early evening 24 June activating alarm. Nothing stolen. Burglary - Sheds Garages Etc Outer lock on garage in Upton Road broken off and garage entered overnight 17/18 June. Wires to outside light cut. Nothing taken or tampered with inside. Double garage in Hawthorn Drive entered between 13/18 June by unknown means Two high value mountain bikes stolen. Secure garage in block in Gough Crescent entered overnight/morning 27/28 June. Two off-road motorcycles stolen but recovered from nearby garden. Common Assault Suspect attacked victim when victim went to assist mother during domestic dispute early evening 27 May. CHARGED (May crime) Following verbal argument with father late afternoon 5 June, male punched his mother in the face. FORMAL CAUTION Husband assaulted wife evening 22 June by grabbing her around the throat on two occasions. CHARGED Male known to victim pushed her during argument with his wife evening 22 June. Vehicle seen to be removed on van trailer. Theft From M/V Three alloy wheels stolen from Peugeot 205 parked off-road at rear of premises in Pilgrims Way between 5/7June. Ford Mondeo in Primrose Gardens entered early hours 9 June by smashing driver’s window. Satnav and laptop and tools in boot taken. Male seen to break into Ford Escort parked in Blackbird Close after smashing rear passenger window early hours 10 June. Restrained by MoPs. POLICE BAIL ¼-light on Ford Transit in Blackbird Close smashed and entry gained between 8/10 June. Nothing taken but case in footwell searched. POLICE BAIL Passenger window of Peugeot 206 parked in Pergin Crescent smashed overnight 17/18 June possibly with tool placed into seal. Offender reached in and stole Bluetooth headset. Theft - Pedal Cycle Custom built racing cycle taken from lean-to at side of house in Gough Crescent overnight 31 May/1 June. Mountain cycle left insecure in Millfield stolen early hours/morning 2 June. Cycle left in front garden in Martin Close evening 3 June stolen. Theft From Shops And Stalls Known male placed TV into trolley at TESCO late afternoon and waited by exit until customer entered store activating security bars turnstile. Offender then ran through the open gates, pushing trolley into car park and making off with trolley on foot. CHARGED Theft Other MP3 player stolen from school bag left unattended in locker room whilst informant sat school exam afternoon 21 May (May crime) Male charity collector took small sum of cash when not authorised to do so from householder evening 28 June. Rw/oC Sapling sized maple tree stolen from front garden in Goldfinch Road overnight 28/29 June Veh. Inter./Tampering Rear passenger side window of VW Sharan in York Road smashed overnight 18/19 June. Gym bag moved but nothing stolen. Plastic surrounding passenger wing mirror also damaged. Wounding Male in subway outside TESCO Waterloo Road was struck on head from behind evening 8 June; also sustained deep cut to inside of wrist, apparently caused by knife. Theft By Employee Offender made several transactions onto own personal credit card disguising them as refunds to the sum of £480 over the period 13 May/13 June. .
